In the circulated video, Emanuella was seen wearing a black dress with a thigh-high slit, revealing her cleavage. Due to conflicting responses about her attire, Mark Angel apologized and emphasized that the video had been shared without his approval.
Mark’s Statement
Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote, “Dear friends and family, I want to address a situation involving my child: Emanuella’s recent video that has been circulating on social media.
Unfortunately, she innocently wore inappropriate clothing belonging to one of her elder sisters without our knowledge, posted it on her WhatsApp status, but unfortunately, a view-hungry adult downloaded the video and posted it on her own TikTok account without considering that the child may have posted that video without fully understanding the consequences.”
Mark Angel continued to take full responsibility as a parent, expressing sincere apologies for any discomfort caused and assuring that he is addressing the issue with his child.
He emphasized the importance of making responsible choices and stated that he is taking steps to prevent such incidents from happening again.
He concluded by thanking everyone for their understanding and support during this challenging time.
Who is Mark Angel?
For those unfamiliar with Mark Angel, he is a Nigerian comedian, scriptwriter, and video producer known for the Mark Angel Comedy series on YouTube. Born on May 27, 1991, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, Mark Angel attended Obafemi Awolowo University to study medicine but left for family reasons.
Despite studying cinematography in India and gaining experience in Nigeria’s film industry, he faced challenges finding stable work in Nollywood.
Mark Angel began independent filmmaking in 2013 under his studio, Mechanic Pictures, and achieved significant success with his YouTube channel. He is recognized for featuring child comedians like Emmanuella and Success in his comedy shorts.
