Netflix’s new dance competition, Dance 100, will include eight choreographers competing against each other. These choreographers will take the world’s best 100 dancers and create some jaw-dropping routines. It will be up to the 100 dancers to decide who should advance in the competition and who should be eliminated when it comes to eliminations.
This six-part series will be hosted by Peloton instructor Ally Love. This American instructor promises the show to be a ballroom romp.
How Is Dance 100 Different From Other Dance Competitions?
Unlike other competitions, in Netflix’s newest street dance competition, choreographers compete with each other to establish themselves as the next big choreographer.
The Dance 100, a group of 100 of the best dancers in the world, will be used by the competitors to design, produce, and perform group dances during the competition.
After each performance, the Dance 100 participants will choose which choreographers stay and which ones leave, and one of them will be the Dance 100 champion.
The Release Date Of Dance 100
On March 17, Dance 100 will be available on Netflix. Fitness instructor and presenter, Ally Love, will host the reality competition, which will have a total of six episodes.
The Cast of Dance 100
There are eight aspiring dancers who are prepared to compete in Dance 100. These are:
- Keenan Cooks, from Boston, worked with Cardi B, J.Lo, Nicki Minaj, and more.
- Brandi Chun, from Hawaii, teaches at the Millennium Dance Complex.
- Rex Kline, from Los Angeles, danced with Playground LA and Millennium Dance Complex.
- Rudy Garcia, from Miami, teaches at Naughty Girl Fitness.
- Janick Arseneau, from Montreal, performed on So You Think You Can Dance Canada.
- Akira Armstrong, from The Bronx, performed in Beyoncé’s music videos.
- Celine Edmondson, from Brooklyn, is co-captain of the Brooklyn Nets dance team.
- Max Pham, from Los Angeles, danced with Ariana Grande, Justin Timberlake, and Rosalia
The Host Of Dance 100
Fitness instructor and model Ally Love is making her hosting debut on Dance 100.
Although Love is most recognised for being a Peloton instructor, she is also a dancer who has appeared for the New York Knicks and travelled with ballet companies across North America.
In addition to founding and running Love Squad, she also hosts the podcast Courtside Conversation and serves as the in-arena host for the Brooklyn Nets.
