Know about Power Slap League, founder, background, and history

Licensed and recognized by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Power Slap League is the top slap fighting organization in the world. Power Slap League, hosted by Dana White, has athletes from all over the world competing on the ultimate platform to display their strength, skill, and tenacity. As it sounds, slap fighting is physical combat, where professionals slap their adversary with open hands and whoever can withstand the pressure for the longest is declared the winner.

Although slap fighting has been around for a while, it has never really been regarded as a professional sport. In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, its popularity grew and hence, the Slap Fighting Championship was founded by Logan Paul and Arnold Schwarzenegger in March. Three judges scored the fight in the Slap Fighting Championship, with a knockout deciding the victor. If a participant could continue after being slapped for 30 seconds, they were declared the winner. Each competitor received one slap during each of the three rounds.

What are the rules and format of Power Slap League?

Campbell claims that the league’s medical standards, weight categories, and matchmaking will be comparable to those of MMA. He added that there will be enforced fouls, a reasonable weight disparity, & mouthpieces plus earplugs. Additionally to choose the winner, official judges will be placed and use 10-point scoring system used in boxing and MMA.
