A strange visitor stands near Eugene Lionhart’s monument in Damn Reincarnation, Chapter 77, and puzzles him. A mysterious individual asserting their lineage as an ancestor of Eugene raises doubts about Eugene’s relationship to the historical figure Sir Hamel. It emerges throughout the conversation that Xenos, the mysterious outsider, is actually Sir Hamel’s student and that his relationship with Eugene is complicated.
Sir Hamel and Sir Vermouth want to create a loyal army to govern the main family and its branches, and Xenos reveals that he comes from that lineage. After learning this, Eugene becomes curious about their family dynamics and questions Vermouth’s motives for passing Hamel his abilities.
