Damar Hamlin new out of this world hand tattoo pictures and meaning
The Buffalo Bills defensive back has numerous tattoos scattered over his body, but the most recent one, which is space-themed, completely covers the back of his left hand and wrist. Hamlin went to tattoo artist Andres Ortega of Onder Ink in Arizona just a few days before the Super Bowl to get the intricate artwork done.
What does the tattoo mean?
The ink is a testament to Hamlin’s current mending process. An astronaut striking a yoga position in the Milky Way Galaxy is shown in the tattoo. According to Ortega, Hamlin wanted the tattoo to demonstrate his recovery after suffering a heart collapse on January 2 during a Monday Night Football game.

All different types of professional sportsmen, including Bengals star wideout Tee Higgins, with whom Hamlin had the tackle that required hospitalisation, have had their bodies inked by Ortega. Hamlin wanted to demonstrate how he’s been finding serenity after experiencing a medical issue for weeks, Ortega said.
Damar’s jacket too caused a stir.
The 24-year-old was so delighted with his new tattoo that he boldly displayed it while attending the Super Bowl weekend events in Glendale all weekend. For the largest sporting event of the year, Hamlin wore a Takashi Murakami “Travis Jesus” stadium-style jacket that cost roughly $3,600. It featured crucifixion motifs on the back and Murakami’s well-known Jesus design on the left. On the right side of the garment were the words, “Without End or Beginning There is No Day and No Night.” On social media, the jersey drew mixed reviews, with some slamming the Buffalo Bills’ safety for making fun of Jesus.
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38–35 to win Super Bowl LVII and reclaim their championship. The National Football League recognised Damar Hamlin and the staff of the University of Cincinnati Medical Center (UCMC), who was crucial in preserving his life, and their presence made the occasion even more poignant.
