Dakar Rally 2023 stage three results, upcoming schedule, date, venue, format, race track, & other details
Carlos Sainz, who is attempting to win the Rally-Raid classic for the fourth time, fell far behind his competitors after having to stop twice because of issues with his Audi RS Q e-tron E2. He had a lead of 2m12s over the Toyota driver and defending champion Nasser Al-Attiyah going into the 467km special between Alula and Ha’il. Both drivers had claimed one stage victory each during the first two days of competition in Saudi Arabia, however, Sainz had to stop for the first time at kilometer 213 because the left-rear corner of the hybrid vehicle broke.
Following these bizarre circumstances, Carlos Sainz now faces the daunting task of reducing this deficit suffered due to these problems with his car. On Wednesday, fourth-stage of Dakar Rally will be contested featuring a 573 km track throughout Ha’il and for watching this event in-person, fans can buy their tickets from here.
