By posting a confirmation on Dabang Delhi’s social media page, CEO Durganath Wagle verified that Naveen will be missing the remainder of the season. The 24-year-old will have surgery, the franchise announced on Thursday. They stated:
In the aftermath of the injury sustained on December 27th during the match against Jaipur, Naveen Kumar of Dabang Delhi K.C. will not be able to participate further in the ongoing season of Pro Kabaddi League 10. Under the guidance of medical experts, Naveen is set to undergo right-knee ligament surgery, with the management of Dabang Delhi K.C. diligently overseeing his comprehensive treatment plan, including therapies and surgical procedures.”
Naveen’s season has been outstanding; he became the Pro Kabaddi League’s fastest player to reach 1000 raid points ever. For the duration of the tournament, Ashu Malik will captain the team in Naveen’s absence. With four straight victories, the squad is now ranked second in the standings.

The raider injured himself during the December 27 game against the Jaipur Pink Panthers. He will need surgery and more than six months to heal.

The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) franchise announced on Thursday that Naveen Kumar would not be able to play any further in Season 20 owing to a knee injury.
Meanwhile, after winning both of their games in Mumbai, Dabang Delhi K.C. rose to second place with 40 points. Gujarat Giants have 39 points as of right now, good for third place.
In the Mumbai leg, Malik, who is leading the team in the absence of Naveen, maintained his outstanding performance. He scored a massive 23 raid points in the Mumbai leg of Pro Kabaddi League Season 10.
