The dedication to promoting an innovative and entrepreneurial culture in our country is demonstrated by the Cyber Security Grand Challenge. It is crucial in supporting India’s goal of rising to the top of the global cybersecurity scene. By acting as a catalyst, CSGC helps our nation get closer to these lofty objectives.
“The Cyber Security Grand Challenge 2.0 is a major government-backed initiative with a significant amount of total prize pool of Rs 6.85 crore and a focus on recognising startups offering innovative cybersecurity solutions,” said S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY.
According to MeitY, the entire “CSGC 2.0” process would be divided into several phases, with mentorship offered at each one. Participants in the Grand Challenge are required to develop solutions centred on six specific problem statement categories.
For cutting-edge solutions in API security, data protection, wearable privacy, clone app mitigation, AI threat detection, and biometric security, registration is currently open through February 14 and you can submit the form online here.
In addition to the three stages, Idea, Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and Final Product step, the challenge also includes a fourth step called “Go-to-Market.”
By qualifying six startups for each issue statement in the Idea Stage, it broadens the reach of recognition. As a result, 36 startups are recognized in the early stage, each receiving Rs 5 lakh, and 18 startups receive Rs 10 lakh at the Minimum Viable Product stage.
