The CSK middle-order batsman posted an emotional today in the morning saying he is not going to take part in the next year’s IPL and later he deleted it. The CEO of the CSK franchise was asked about Rayudu’s future in the team after his retirement. He said, “That’s wrong news. He is not retiring. Earlier this morning the 36-year-old tweeted about his retirement and said goodbye to the fans. Rayudu tweeted “I am happy to announce that this will be my last ipl. I have had a wonderful time playing it and being a part of 2 great teams for 13 years. Would love to sincerely thank Mumbai Indians and Csk for the wonderful journey.”

After the clarification of CEO Viswanath, Ambati Rayudu deleted the tweet and left his fans confusing.

Rayudu has scored 271 runs in 12 matches this season. He has been off-color since the last season of IPL as he only managed to score 257 runs in 16 matches of CSK’s title-winning season. CSK has still shown trust in the experienced batter and they still believe that there is still something left in Rayudu.
