In the Antwerp Major final, Finn “karrigan” Andersen (Denmark) won 2-0 with Hvard “rain” Nygaard (Norway), Helvijs “broky” Saukants (Latvia), Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken (Canada), and Robin “ropz” Kool (Estonia).

Astralis (Denmark), Cloud9 (United States), SK Gaming (Brazil), Team Envy (France), and Fnatic (France) are just a few examples of previous CS: GO Major winning teams (Sweden).
NAVI won last year with a Russian and Ukrainian lineup. FaZe, on the other hand, are the first team to have five players from different countries. After the five Americans who won the Boston Major alongside Cloud9 in 2018, Twistzz became only the sixth North American player to win a Major.

The fan-favourite veteran karrigan is 32 years old and has won multiple major CS: GO competitions, although he has yet to win a Major. Rain, on the other hand, not only claimed his first Major but was also named tournament MVP. On the series-deciding map, Nuke, and Rain led all players inside the server with 30 kills.
Following a 2-1 quarterfinal victory against Ninjas n Pyjamas and a 2-0 semifinal victory over Team Spirit, FaZe defeated NAVI 2-0. FaZe pushed Team Spirit on the second map, which FaZe eventually won 25-23 in triple overtime. In the opening map of the final, NAVI forced FaZe into overtime, in which FaZe triumphed 19-16.
The Antwerp Major victory is the latest in a string of victories for FaZe, who have solidified their position as the best CS:GO team in the world. This year, FaZe has won three of the most important CS:GO tournaments: IEM Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 15, and the PGL Major Antwerp.
The total purse of the tournament stood at $1 million.
NAVI star Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev praised FaZe and karrigan on social media after the final. Last year, S1mple, widely regarded as one of the top CS:GO players on the planet, won his first International with NAVI in Stockholm.
