The Super United Croatia Rapid & Blitz, organized by the Grand Chess Tour, will take place in Zagreb, Croatia, from July 20 to 24, 2022. The format consists of a rapid chess round-robin followed by a double round-robin of blitz between ten top grandmasters. The total prize pool is $150,000.

Tournament Format, Rules, and Prize Money Pool
The format consists of ten best grandmasters competing in a rapid chess round-robin followed by a double round-robin of blitz. The combination of rapid chess and blitz chess will surely keep the fans on their toes and make them look forward to each day’s matches. The first three days of the tournament are dedicated to host rapid chess matches while, the last two days will see a series of blitz chess matches.
