Cristiano Ronaldo has once again emerged in the news for a transfer away from Juventus after failing to make the cut for the match against Udinese
Ensuing his hard hitting post on Instagram, one where he minced no words as he lashed out at the reports of him aspiring for a return to Real Madrid, the bruhaha around Cristiano Ronaldo’s future looked to have finally quelled. With his adamantly stating that he wasn’t looking to go to Real Madrid, it looked set that Ronaldo would see out his contract at Juventus.
However come Sunday and all that has changed. As Ronaldo was dropped from Juventus’ playing 11 for the side’s first match of the new Serie A season, reports took no time in springing up of the player being left out owing to him seeking a move away from the Italian side.
Fabrizio Romano’s tweet has only added fuel to the fire with him claiming that Ronaldo had personally asked to be left on the bench as he rummaged the market for a solution for himself. However, in the midst of Romano’s comments, Juventus’ Vice-President, Pavel Nedved has come out with a different view.
Pavel Nedved Refutes Reports Of Cristiano Ronaldo Seeking A Transfer Away From Juventus
Talking after Ronaldo failed to feature in the playing 11, Nedved spoke about how it was only due to Ronaldo not being fully fit and there was no reason for sensationalism.
“It is a choice shared with the player, it’s normal that he’s not in top condition.
“The coach is trying to field the best team, even Chiellini who is a European champion has been left out: it is a choice made to be competitive. Cristiano will remain a Juventus player,” Nedved went onto say.
