Yash Thakur is an Indian right arm bowler was born on 28 December 1998 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The youngster plays for Vidharba in domestic cricket and for the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL.
Yash grew up playing cricket since childhood and always wanted to become a cricketer as a kid. His father enrolled him in the Praveen Hinganikar Cricket Academy where he started playing cricket aged 13.
Yash showed a natural talent in bowling after his coach noticed that he had a very good grip and a fast bowling style. Following the discovery, Yash eventually understood the technical aspects of bowling and eventually started playing domestic cricket for Vidarbha.
LSG brought the young Vidarbha pacer on board for INR 45 Lakh and he has played 37 T20s, scalping 55 wickets. He can bowl comfortably in the 135-145 kmph.
