Gurkeerat Singh Mann was an Indian professional cricketer who was born on June 29, 1990, in Muktsar, Punjab, India. Although he was born in Muktsar, his family moved to Mohali, Punjab, in 1995. He played as a batter for the Trident Stallions and the Punjab cricket team. As a bowler, he played as a right-arm off-break. Gurkeerat most prominently played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore after he joined them in December 2018.

Gurkeerat started out playing cricket at the young age of 10. Around 2011, he got his major break when he was selected in the ‘Punjab’ cricket team. Following which, he played his first T20 match against ‘Haryana’ in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at Rohtak, Haryana. Later in 2014, he got the chance to play for ‘India A’. During the 2015-16 Ranji Trophy, while playing for ‘Punjab’, Gurkeerat scored a double-century against ‘Railways’.

Gurkeerat also played in the IPL from 2012–2018 for several teams, including the Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Gujarat Titans. He last played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in 2021. He was also a regular in the India A team and got selected for the ‘India’ cricket team in 2016, where he made his ODI debut against ‘Australia’ at Melbourne, Australia. The 33-year-old has now officially retired from all forms of professional cricket.
