Bishan Singh Bedi made a significant impact during his active career from 1967 to 1979. He participated in 67 Test matches and grabbed 266 outstanding wickets. Additionally, Bedi took seven wickets in 10 one-day international games.

He was a crucial player in India’s development of spin bowling and is widely considered one of the best spin bowlers in the country. He played a historic World Cup match in 1975, holding East Africa to only 120 runs.
