The Artistic gymnastic events are a popular and regular event at the Olympic Games with fans from all over the world now becoming more familiar with the sport.
FIG Apparatus World Cup 2023
The FIG Apparatus World Cup 2023 is an annual event featuring four events starting with the Cottbus World Cup. Through this event, gymnasts can accumulate ranking points, which will help contestants qualify for the World Cup title. This year, the series will offer individual gymnasts an opportunity to qualify for the 2023 World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium. The event is part of the Olympic qualification pathway for Paris 2024.

Eleftherios Petrounias (Greece)
Eleftherios Petrounias, the Rio 2016 still rings champion from Greece, also won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2022. The two-time Olympic medallist, and three-time world champion is popularly known as Lord of the Rings.
Ashikawa Urara (Japan)
Many gymnastics fans will be looking at the 2021 world beam champion Ashikawa Urara in Cottbus. The teenager has experience of competing at apparatus World Cups. She previously won a gold at Cottbus 2019, Melbourne 2020 and Baku 2020.
Following those three World Cups to claim the beam title, Ashikawa scored enough points to qualify for the Olympic Games at her home country where she came sixth place.
Artem Dolgopyat (Israel)
Artem Dolgopyat of Israel, who won gold in the Tokyo 2020 floor exercise will showcase his current form in Germany.
Rhys McClenaghan (Ireland)
Rhys McClenaghan is the reigning pommel horse world champion, who will be eyeing a pathway toward an Olympic title.
Elisabeth Seitz (Germany)
Elisabeth Seitz, who is a world bronze medallist on bars, will also compete in front of a home crowd at the Cottbus World Cup 2023ย .
DโAmato sisters (Italy)
Italian twin sisters, Alice D’Amato and Asia D’Amato will also be looking to compete in the event. Alice is a world team bronze medallist while Asia is the reigning European all-around champion, currently recovering from injury.
Tin Srbic (Croatia)
Tin Srbic of Croatia, the 2017 world champion is also on the list of participants. Srbic will ply his new routine in Germany alongside Carlos Yuol, the two-time world champion, on floor and vault. He is a crowd favorite with his powerful, explosive gymnastics.
