Here is all you need to know about the Copa America 2024 quarter-finals schedule, date, time and teams
Even though Argentina had to put forth a lot of effort, they eventually overcame Chile. Lautaro Martinez made it in the closing minutes as the defending champions won 1-0 to secure a spot in the 2024 Copa America quarterfinals.ย
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Lionel Scaloni’s side will take on Peru. On the other hand, the winner of this matchup will go on to play Chile and Canada in the quarterfinals.
The four teams; Venezuela, Mexico, Ecuador, and Jamaica; will be playing on Thursday, June 27, and La Albiceleste will have a clearer sense of who their opponent is.ย

Each team is seated according to their position in their respective group (group winner or group runner-up), with all quarterfinal matchups prearranged.
The Copa America bracket is composed of two sections. And from each, one finalist will emerge. The bracket began to take shape following the conclusion of the group stage on July 2.ย
After winning their respective regions’ qualifying tournaments, 16 teams advance to the Copa America. After the group stage, the 16 teams were divided into four groups, each with four teams.ย
From the quarterfinals all the way to the title, every match is an elimination. Teams advance to the semifinals and final game from the quarterfinals.ย
As previously mentioned, teams will play 30 minutes of extra time if they are tied after 90 minutes of regulation play. If necessary, they will then move on to a penalty shootout.ย
