The CONMEBOL Copa America 2024, often called the Copa America is the top men’s football tournament featuring the top national teams from across South America. The Copa America is notably the oldest running continental football competition, and the third most watched event in the world. It was initially founded in July 1916, and Argentina are the reigning champions. The competition features a total of 16 teams. This year’s event is being held in the United States as the CONCACAF are co-organizing it. It began on June 20 and will conclude on to July 14, 2024.

The final match will kick off at 8:00 p.m. EDT (IST – 5:30 am, Friday). As such, fans can expect the closing ceremony to start at roughly 8:50 p.m. (IST – 6:20 am, Friday).
