Date, time and broadcasting

On ESPN/ESPN+, Team McGregor vs. Team Chandler will begin on May 30 and continue through August 15. The scheduled confrontation between McGregor and Chandler has yet to be given a date or a location.

Since coaching against Uriah Faber, McGregor has served as a coach on the TUF twice. For months, Chandler (23-8) has been vocally advocating to be McGregor’s rematch opponent. He has dropped three of his last four battles. In his most recent encounter, Poirier submitted him at UFC 281. McGregor (22-6) recently suffered two defeats, both against Poirier.

Below is how Chandler reacted to the news.

Conor McGregor needs to undergo six months of testing before returning to the UFC.

Before he can compete once more, Conor McGregor still has some work to do. McGregor needs to re-enter the UFC’s anti-doping programme, which demands six months of drug testing before an athlete is permitted to compete once more before he can engage in combat. McGregor has not yet reapplied for testing as of yet.

According to representatives of the US Anti-Doping Agency, McGregor hasn’t been re-enrolled in the USADA testing pool as of today, which he would have to be in for at least six months and have at least two negative tests before any fight.

Coaches are not included in our testing pool for all obvious reasons. So, he or other coaches don’t need to participate in the testing pool to coach. However, he would need to be in the testing pool for at least six months and have two negative tests before any fights if there is a future plan for the coaches to square off.

Although McGregor will have plenty of time to re-enter the drug testing pool before his next fight, which is not likely to happen until the latter part of 2023, fighters can be exempted from the six months of necessary testing.
