Conor McGregor India: Take a look at the heartfelt message sent by the Notorious One to India, stating his support during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The second wave of Covid-19 has surely shaken India to its roots, having recorded more than 4,200 deaths in the past 24 hours. There are almost 3,50,000 new cases emerging everyday with the total tally being almost 3 Cr by the end of May.

In such a dejected and sorrowful time, UFC’s Conor McGregor came forward to depict his support towards the country in these tough times. He is currently training with India, Ramston Rodriguez in the UFC Gym in UAE. In his post uploaded on Instagram stating his support to India, McGregor claimed Ramston to be UFC’s first Indian Heavyweight Champion.

“Training with India’s next heavyweight champion, @ramstonrodrigues. Working with Ramston, I know first hand how strong India and its people truly are! I stand with India in their fight through Covid. Let’s go India! We are with you! The world is with you,” McGregor posted on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Ramston Rodrigues, who is unknown in the MMA and UFC world, also posted a photo on Instagram along with McGregor and he captioned the post as: “Thank you champ @thenotoriousmma for your kind words and support to our great nation. We learn and come back stronger than ever. Stay strong India.”

Conor McGregor’s next UFC Fight?

Conor McGregor is currently preparing for his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 on July 10, 2021 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Interestingly this arena is known to be the unofficial home of the Irishman as he has won majority of his fights in the same.

To give a background check, about Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor, the former won via TKO early in 2021 in UFC 257 at the Etihad Arena. Whereas McGregor won the first fight against the relatively young Dustin Poirier in UFC 178 via first round TKO.

Conor rcently took the limelight after emerging as the top earning athlete in the world. The Notorious managed to massive strides to top the illustrious pile by getting the better of names like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
