India played two games – Rocket League and Dota 2, but could not get through the group phase in the Rocket League. Hopes now go to the Dota 2 team that will compete for the bronze medal in the CWEC.
India faced Malaysia in the semifinals, but was unable to overtake them and will face New Zealand in a bronze medal match.
Malaysia, on the other hand, took home the efootball and Dota 2(W) gold medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Esports Championships. Malaysia has a chance to make their gold count three-for-three when they face England in the Dota 2 (Open) Grand Finale on Sunday.
