The rugby sevens competition at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, which take place from July 29 to July 31, is featuring a women’s tournament. In contrast to the original plan, the competition is being held at Coventry Stadium in Coventry. According to the rules, the top two teams from each pool advance to the medal round knockout stage, with the remaining teams vying for positions sixth through eighth.

2022 Commonwealth Games – Women’s Rugby Sevens Teams, Groups, Latest Results, Upcoming Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
Australia has maintained its good start to the Commonwealth Games, and Maddison Levi’s hat-trick helped the world champions thrash Scotland 50-0. Tim Walsh’s team sailed to a commanding lead as the Scottish lost a player as Levi opened the scoring once more. Levi was able to create a 28-0 lead at the half thanks to his second try and additional tries from Sariah Paki and Sharni Williams. The Sevens Rookie of the Year went on to score her third try as Paki crossed for a double, and rising star Jesse Southwell finished an impressive showing.
Earlier, Australia defeated South Africa 38-0 to win the opening group match at the Commonwealth Games Rugby Sevens. After today’s results, Australian women’s team has qualified for the semi-finals round and look determined to win the gold medal.
