2022 Commonwealth Games – Women’s Beach Volleyball Australia vs Canada Final Results, Score, And Medal Winners
Just like they did four years ago at the 2018 Gold Coast Games, del Solar and Clancy lost their gold medal match in 2022 Commonwealth Games. Hours after Chris McHugh and Paul Burnett’s heartfelt comeback victory in men’s volleyball final, Canadian duo of Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes defeated del Solar and Clancy with a score of 22-24 21-17 15-12.
Del Solar and Clancy sped to an early four-point break in the seesawing opening set of the women’s final that night before the Canadians broke back. However, the Canadians won the final two sets and the gold medal after the Australians saved two set points and sealed the victory.
