A men’s event is being held during the rugby sevens competition at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, which will run from July 29 to July 31, 2022. The tournaments are taking place in Coventry Stadium in Coventry rather than Villa Park, as was the original plan. According to the rules, the top two teams from each pool will qualify for the quarterfinals.

2022 Commonwealth Games – Men’s Rugby Sevens Teams, Groups, Latest Results, Upcoming Schedule, Date, Time, And Venue
On Friday, the Australian men’s rugby sevens team put up a world-class performance that helped them defeat Jamaica 62-0. Samu Kerevi, a Wallaby, appeared to be a step above his opponents as he scored after only 30 seconds and then assisted Nathan Lawson two minutes later. As John Manenti’s team continued where they left off in London, two more tries to Kerevi further cemented their domination. The game was effectively decided by captain Nick Malouf and vice-captain Maurice Longbottom, and a late yellow card allowed Lawson to cross for his second goal before Mark Nawaqanitawase put the game away.
Later, Australia pulled through a severe scare to tie Uganda 12-all. After today’s results, Australian men’s rugby team sit second in the pool with just one point behind leaders Kenya.
