A look at the medals tally after the end of the second day of the Commonwealth Games 2022, Birmingham, the medal tally by team and medals ranking

So far Australia has managed to maintain itself as the medal table topper for the second day in a row. Australia has won 32 medals overall till now which includes 13 gold, 8 silver and 11 bronze.

New Zealand is leading in the second position with 13 medals including 7 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medal.

England is at the third position with 21 medals including 5 gold, 12 silver and 4 bronze won so far in this competition.

Whereas India also opened its medal tally account on day 2. India managed to clinch four medals on the second day of the competition. All four medals came in weightlifting with the likes of Mira Bai Chanu winning gold, Sanket Sargar and Bindyarani Devi securing silver and Gururaja Poojary winning the bronze medal.

Talking about the overall medal leader in the history of this competition, Australia is in the first position with (2415) medals followed by England (2144) and Canada (1555). India sits in the fifth position with more than 500 medals won so far in this competition.
