• There was good result in athletics from India as Eldhose Paul, Annu Kumari, Abdullah Aboobacker and Sandeep Kumar added more medals to the tally.
• The highly anticipated cricket final between Australia and India will also feature today at 9:30 pm (IST).
• In table tennis Sharath Kamal Achanta and Sathiyan Ganesekaran won the silver in men’s doubles.
• Pv Sindhu also qualified for the gold medal match on day 10 while the pair of Chirag Shetty and Satwik Sairaj Rankireddy also assured a medal for India after defeating Peng Soon Chan and Kian Meng Tan in the men’s doubles.
• The pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand also won the silver after losing to Kong Lee Pearly Tan and Muralitharan Thinaah in the women’s doubles of badminton.
• In athletics, the Women’s Realy team – Dutee Chand, Hima Das, Jyothi Yarraji and Srabani Nanda finished fifth in the 4*100m relay final.
