1) Mirabai Chanu : Gold, women’s 49kg- Weightlifting, the Tokyo Silver Medalist dominated with the power-packed performance in her weight category to clinch India’s first gold at CWG, 22 on July 30, 2022.
2) Jeremy Lalrinnunga: Gold, men’s 67kg- Weightlifting, the 19-year-old continued the streak as he claimed India’s second gold at Birmingham on July 31.
3) Anchita Sheuli: Gold, men’s 74kg – Weightlifting, another impressive 20-year-old who brought India its third gold of the Commonwealth Games 2022 on July 31.
4) Bidyarani Devi: Silver, women’s 55kg – Weightlifting, known as Mirabai Chanu 2.0 added a silver to India’s collection at CWG, 22 on July 30.
5) Sanket Mahadev Sargar: Silver, men’s 55kg- Weightlifting, opened the medal tally for India by winning silver at CWG, 22 on July 30.
6) Gururaja Poojary: Bronze, men’s 61kg- Weightlifting, secured the bronze for India at Birmingham on July 30.
Talking about day 5, there will be plenty of events in which India will hope for a podium finish.
