Brandi added, “The doctor recently fixed Cody’s pectoral tendon, which was completely pulled off the bone.” “He is on the mend now after a successful surgery.”
Dr. James Andrews, a renowned surgeon who specialises in dealing with wrestlers and sportsmen who sustain injuries over time, is said to have seen Rhodes.
Cody tore his pectoral muscle a few days before his scheduled encounter with Seth Rollins at the “Hell in a Cell” pay-per-view.
However, he would suffer a major tear of the muscle — which stretched from his chest to his entire right arm — while weight training, leaving his status for the tournament in question.
Rhodes persevered and competed, defeating Rollins inside the unforgiving structure, but he suffered the price later that night on “Monday Night Raw,” as Seth repeatedly attacked the damaged area throughout the match.
“Go make your money,” The Rock tells Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins after their epic Hell in a Cell performance.
Following their spectacular match at Hell in a Cell, Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, gave Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins a poignant note.
Rhodes defeated the former Universal Champion for the third match on WWE television since his comeback at WrestleMania 38 at the recently concluded Premium Live Event.
The Rock congratulated the two men for their recent outing in response to a tweet from The American Nightmare. He expressed himself as follows:
“Holy sh*t. Proud of both, you and Seth. Go make your money!”
Holy shit.

Dave Meltzer gave the Rhodes-Rollins trilogy a five-star rating, making it WWE’s first main roster encounter to get the honour since CM Punk’s match against John Cena in 2011.
Rhodes fought in Hell in a Cell with a ruptured pectoral muscle and will be out for the remainder of 2022.
