In AEW’s All Out Main Event, CM Punk sustained back-to-back injuries after beating Moxley in the AEW Championship title match. According to the wrestling observers in AEW, CM Punk sustained a triceps injury while toping a dive through the ring ropes on his opponent. Earlier at AEW’s Double or Nothing, as he competed in the World Championship, CM Punk was injured immediately after the fight.

Following his All Out Main Event fight, it is reported that Punk underwent for surgery. AEW’s observers have confirmed that his surgery will require an 8-month recovery period. After the injury, his doctor recommended going for immediate surgery to prevent muscular atrophy.

The future of CM Punk in AEW is in serious doubt after he made explosive comments on the post-show talk. Punk’s comments resulted in a real backstage fight between Omega and the Young Bucks.
