CM Punk who returns to the land of wrestling after six years will be making his AEW debut in Chicago
Not of action in the land of wrestling for the last six years, CM Punk is all set to make a return. The latest development surfaces only a few days back with AEW ready to bring back the stalwart.
CM Punk’s return is all set to be a massive shot in the arm for AEW. The organisation has for the last couple of weeks been signing a string of old WWE superstars, names who have either been released or have taken a sabbatical from WWE.
Adding his name to the ever growing illustrious pile is CM Punk. Whilst rumours had snowballed about WWE eying up brining him back as well, those have been quashed with CM Punk now a part of All Elite Wrestling.
CM Punk Set To Make AEW Debut In Chicago
Ensuing the news of his return, it has now been revealed when he’ll be making his AEW debut as well. Bodyslam.net have gone onto assert that CM Punk will 100% be making his first appearance for AEW in Chicago whilst the details of the event remain to be made public.

Chicago has three AEW shows lined up with CM Punk set to make his presence felt at one of them. His signing for AEW will help the organisation bridge the gap between itself and WWE as it continues to up the ante to eat a chunk of WWE’s dwindling viewership.
Daniel Bryan will meanwhile be making his maiden appearance on September 22nd at the Arthur Ashe Stadium Dynamite Grand Slam event. The slew of names gracing the AEW paired with the riveting events it has lined up are set to see us be in for piquant wrestling matches over the course of 2021.
WWE meanwhile is all set to hit back with the company planning its own Summerslam event come mid-August, a marquee event which will see the most gargantuan names step out infront of a live audience.
