Earlier, in a statement, the lead actor of the franchise Atul Kulkarni stated that “City Of Dreams delves deep into the web of politics, the Gaikwads and all that surrounds them. Working on this show has been a creatively satisfying experience and my character, Ameya Rao Gaikwad has seen a graph of growth at each step. He undergoes a significant transformation in this season along with a series of events that “fundamentally alter the core of his persona.”
Season 4 of City of Dreams is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar in January 2025. The show is expected to have ten episodes, each lasting approximately 40-60 minutes. The show was created by Rohit Banawlikar, a member of Kukunoor’s team. Banawlikar and Kukunoor worked together on an anthology film that will be made into a feature film. Kukunoor, on the other hand, saw an opportunity for a series as digital platforms grew in India.
City of Dreams is being produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Kukunoor Movies. Atul Kulkarni, Priya Bapat, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Sushant Singh, Eijaz Khan, and Rannvijay Singha star in the show. Ameya Gaikwad (Kulkarni) and Poornima Gaikwad (Bapat) collaborate in Season 3 to protect their inheritance from external threats and adversaries.
Season 4 of the series will picks up where Season 3 left off, with the father-daughter duo of Poornima Gaikwad (Priya Bapat) and Amey Rao Gaikwad, aka Saheb (Atul Kulkarni), reuniting after a major political battle in Season 2. Along with Eijaz Khan and Sachin Pilgaonkar, Rannvijay Singha, Sushant Singh, Flora Saini, and Shishir Sharma play pivotal roles in Nagesh Kukunoor’s latest political thriller series.
