Thrilling spy series Citadel is returning for a second season on Prime Video, and it’s all about international espionage, know the season 2 release date
Citadel is an international phenomenon, with storylines and spinoffs set in countries as diverse as Italy, India, Spain, and Mexico. The second season is currently in production and will have even more exciting action and spy drama. Citadel, which debuted in April 2023, is one of Prime Video’s four most-watched series ever.

The streaming service has ordered a second season of the hit show starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, with filming set to begin in late 2023 or early 2024 after which an official release date will be known.
Agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) of the eponymous series will be back for another round. This multinational spy thriller also stars Lesley Manville and Stanley Tucci.
David Weil, who created the series, remains in the role of showrunner, while Joe Russo, who directed many episodes in the first season, will helm the whole second season. The Citadel series features an international ensemble that proves the power of teamwork around the world. Lorenzo Cervasio, Maurizio Lombardi, and Thekla Reuten will star in the Italian version, while Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan will head up the Indian version.
