The Portugal captain took to Instagram to wish Eriksen well as he went onto write, “Our thoughts and prayers are with Christian Eriksen and his family. The world of football stands together hoping for good news. I’m counting on finding you soon back on the pitch, Chris! Stay strong!”
Premier League clubs Arsenal, Newcastle United along with Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham and Dider Drogba all also emoted their well wishes towards Eriksen.
