Another smashing win at the Men’s Asian Champions Trophy, 2024 for Team India.Goals from Harmanpreet, Jarmanpreet and Uttam Singh give India the win.

After defeating China 3-0, Japan 5-1, Malaysia 8-1, Korea 3-1, and Pakistan 2-1 in the group stage and Korea 4-1 in the semifinal, Harmanpreet and team will go to the championship match unbeaten. China, on the other hand, lost 0-3 to India, 2-3 to Korea, and 1-5 to Pakistan, but defeated Malaysia 4-2 and Japan 2-0. The third-place play-off match between Pakistan and Korea, the two losing semi-finalists, will take place on Tuesday as well.
Even though the men in blue are the clear favourites to win on Tuesday at Asian Champions Trophy 2024, they won’t underestimate China. Despite losing to India to begin the campaign, the hosts defeated Malaysia and Japan with great ease in the group phase and tested Korea to the furthest before falling by a single goal.
In the group stage, they were likewise crushed 5-1 by Pakistan, but in the semifinal, they triumphed over them to advance to the final. Therefore, even though they are a small team, China can still cause an upset if all the stars line up. In the end, they can put the Indian defence to the test with their swift counterattacks. The hosts are the ideal dark horse in the title final because they will face Craig Fulton’s team on Tuesday with “nothing to lose and everything to gain.”
