But a woman who appears to be Min-ah diverts his attention, reminding viewers of the agreement Sun-man made in Episode 9. Everyone had been waiting for Min-ah’s homecoming for fifty years, ever since she allowed Baekjung to take her back to his home world.

After decades of waiting, Baek-joong was horrified to hear that Baekjung had to recharge the machine for one more day, which would have meant spending an extra fifty years on Earth, in order to transform the nugget into Min-ah.

Baek-joon was devastated to learn of the abrupt news. He is given the option to travel back in time by Baekjung, but there is a price. He and all other humans will become memoryless if they go back in time.

Baek-joong, unsure of what to do next, chooses to meet Seo-man to carry on the conversation. Sadly, Seo-man dies just as he is about to reunite with his daughter.

Having no other option, Baek-joong chooses to press the button that would send him back in time, arriving on the day that Min-ah changes into a chicken nugget. Lack of memory causes Baek-joong and Seo-man to be unaware of their impending situation, so they greet her with open arms.
