Unexpectedly, she lost consciousness and collapsed during the session. Reports indicate that Dr. Anvita received immediate medical attention from a physician present at the gym before being transported to the hospital.
Reason of Sudden Cardiac Arrest
The distressing event unfolded during Anvita’s routine exercise on New Avadi Road, Kilpakkam, where she collapsed unexpectedly after just a few minutes of working out.
The gym staff promptly intervened, rushing her to a nearby private hospital, where medical professionals determined that she had succumbed to a heart attack. While the exact cause of her sudden cardiac arrest remains unclear, there has been speculation linking such incidents to the aftermath of coronavirus vaccinations.
However, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has recently dismissed any connection between COVID-19 vaccines and the surge in sudden cardiac arrests among young individuals, as revealed in a peer-reviewed study published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research.
The study emphasized factors such as family history of sudden deaths, post-COVID-19 hospitalization, and intense unaccustomed activity as contributors to the increased risk of sudden deaths among young adults.
Earlier, in another news, On Friday, Dr. Jyoti Ojha from Basti, a dedicated expert in women’s and maternal health, passed away. In the afternoon, doctors across the district shut their clinics and convened at the IME office on Malviya Road in Basti.
Despite the efforts to clarify the situation, the untimely demise of Dr. Anvita has brought profound sadness to her family, friends, and the medical community, all of whom were deeply shocked by the tragic news.
