The Cheltenham Festival always delivers lots of drama and entertainment brining in thousands of fans on its famous Gloucestershire course, for events like The Gold Cup and The Champion Chase.

Last year, Rachael Blackmore was the star of Cheltenham Festival, following her win in the Champion Hurdle with Honeysuckle. She also won the showpiece race, The Gold Cup, on A Plus Tard. This year, again, the superstar jockey will make a return for more action against the very best at Cheltenham.
2023 Cheltenham Festival start date and time
The start date for the 2023 Cheltenham Festival has been confirmed as Tuesday, March 14 to Friday, March 17. The event will take place across four days featuring seven races on each day, which means 28 races in total.
Each day, the first race will begin at 1:30pm while the last race will begin at 5:30pm. This year again, Tuesday will traditionally be Champion Day, Wednesday is Ladies Day, Thursday is St Patrick’s Thursday, and Friday will be Gold Cup day.
The Cheltenham Festival includes 14 Grade 1 races featuring the best horses, trainers, and jockeys going head-to-head against each other. Tickets can be bought from here.
