Chelsea to Tribute YouTuber Angry Rantman

For the unversed, Chelsea Football Club will commemorate the late Indian YouTuber Abhradeep Saha at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, May 5, 2024, during their Premier League match against West Ham.

The news of this tribute was confirmed by journalist Tom Overend on the social media platform X. Overend expressed his gratitude to those involved in arranging the tribute, which will include a feature in the match program and a half-time announcement.

Tom Overend shared on X, “I can confirm there will be a tribute to Abhradeep Saha at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. He will be in the match programme, and there will be a tribute announcement at half-time. Thank you to everybody who shared and supported to help make this happen.”

He added in a follow-up comment, “I am extremely grateful to Chelsea Football Club for making this happen. They have been outstanding in facilitating this tribute, and I cannot thank them enough.”

About Abhradeep Saha aka Angry Rantman

The veteran YouTuber began his journey in 2017 with a video discussing the horror movie “Annabelle.”

Titled “Why I Will Not Watch the Annabelle Movie,” the video was a rant about how much he was scared by “The Conjuring,” swearing off horror movies for good.

His fame truly took off after he posted a heated rant about his favorite football team losing a match.

His impassioned critique, where he exclaimed, “There is no passion, there is no vision, there is no aggression, there is no mindset in this football club,” quickly became a viral sensation on social media.

In addition to being a die-hard football enthusiast, he was also an avid cricket and cinema fan. He had created several videos about both subjects, showcasing his diverse interests.

The 27-year-old content creator Abhradeep Saha died on April 17th. Reports state he was admitted to Narayana Cardiac Hospital in Bengaluru for undisclosed health issues, underwent open-heart surgery, but later suffered multiple organ failure, leading to life support.

At the time of his death, his “Angry Rantman” persona had over 129,000 Instagram followers and more than 489,000 YouTube subscribers.
