Chelsea next manager betting odds and favourites names
According to bookmakers Betfair, who have the well-liked Argentine at odds-on 17/20 to succeed Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge.
With Brendan Rodgers, Diego Simeone, and Zinedine Zidane all in the running, there is no shortage of well-known contenders.
In Betfair’s betting market, there are a few well-known names that are listed as potential arrivals, like Jose Mourinho and Thomas Tuchel.
Since replacing Thomas Tuchel in September, the former manager of Brighton, Potter, has had trouble having a big impact. The team is currently tenth in the division after the 47-year-old’s first 18 matches in charge of West London ended in eight wins, four draws, and six losses.
Before the Blues’ FA Cup humiliation at the hands of Manchester City on Sunday, Potter was the 14/1 outsider to be the next Premier League manager to leave. He is now the 6/1 joint-second favourite to do so.
While they were being humiliated at the Etihad Stadium, Chelsea’s travelling supporters were heard chanting the names of former manager Thomas Tuchel and owner Roman Abramovich. Roman had to leave the club following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Thomas Tuchel, who won three trophies in 20 months at Stamford Bridge, is a stunning return at 14/1. At 16/1, Jose Mourinho is not far behind.
