Zlatan Ibrahimovic has once again hit out at Chelsea after the club completed the signing of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan
In dire need of strengthening up top, Chelsea went after both Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku. While the Norwegian wonderkid was at the top of their list as the club clamored for his signature, Borussia Dortmund refused to budge from their stance.
Realising it was going to be a battle which had all but run its race, Chelsea turned their attention to a striker they were well-versed with it. And given Inter Milan’s debt, bankruptcy and liquidation issues, Chelsea knew this was going to be a transfer far easier to seal.
They needed to break the bank for the player based out of Belgium but the club decided it was worth entrusting Lukaku to fill up the vacant spot in strike for them. The club acquired his services for a staggering 98 million pounds with the player all set to make his debut for the club in the impending showdown with Arsenal.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic Questions Chelsea And Their Fickleness When It Came To Managers
In the aftermath of the transfer, AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now lashed out a Chelsea. Talking about the club, the striker spoke about how he disliked the side and believed Chelsea’s success to be only a product of the money the side had splashed since the arrival of Russian Roman Abramovich as owner.
“I just don't like Chelsea, period. They are a team who use two coaches in one season before they could able to achieve something – for me that’s not a team. Chelsea bought it’s success with money, simple as that.” Zlatan Ibrahimović pic.twitter.com/wsi8GZJ2tU
