Here’s how you can register for Uttarakhand’s spiritual Char Dham Yatra 2023, know the full registration process

The registration process for Char Dham Yatra 2023 will soon begin. For 2023’s Yatra which is going to take place in Uttarakhand, registration has been made compulsory for all tourists.

This move comes after the 2014 Kedarnath flood, which prompted the Indian government to implement a registration process for all the devotees coming to have darshan in the state.

Char Dham Yatra 2023 date

Char Dham Yatra this year will begin on the 21^st of April 2023 and only registered pilgrims will be allowed to travel.

For Char Dham Yatra you have to simply register offline and for offline registration, you can register at any of the registration booths which are based along the Char Dham Yatra route. While registering for the Char Dham Yatra 2023, you may have to follow a few rules and steps which have been mentioned below.

1. Firstly you have to visit the website of registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in and then you have to click on the register or login column and access char dham yatra 2023 online registration and login form.
2. You have to fill in your details properly and re-check it after filling and then complete the registration process. Your registration will be then verified through a process of personal verification of OTP which will be sent to you via mobile and email.
3. Once the registration has been confirmed, login in with your mobile number and password to access your personalized dashboard.
4. Click on manage pilgrims or tourists to enter your tour plan and select the tour type, tour name, yatra dates, and destination date visit/time.
5. After you enter this whole information, then save the form and you will be shown a window that will be appearing with information about the tour names and dates of destination which you have finalized.
6. To add the details of the pilgrims, click on the option of adding pilgrims.
7. Once you are all done with the registration process, you will receive a unique registration number and then afterward you can download the letter of registration for char dham travel.

For the biometric registration, you have to provide a valid identification certificate, which could be an Aadhar card, voter card, Pan Card, driving license, or passport. There is no such registration fee.
