A professional snooker competition called the 2022 Cazoo Champion of Champions will be held at the University of Bolton Stadium in Bolton, England, from October 31 to November 6, 2022. Total of 16 players will compete in the tournament, most of whom are champions of notable competitions since the previous year’s event.

With 16 of the biggest stars in the world competing, the Champion of Champions is back for 2022. Meanwhile, draw for the 2022 Cazoo Champion of Champions is finished, and the opening match of tournament will feature four-time world champion Mark Selby taking against World Seniors champion Lee Walker.

On Wednesday, reigning champion Judd Trump will begin his title defense in Group 1 against Scottish Open winner Luca Brecel, while Northern Ireland Open winner Mark Allen will play Joe Perry in the same session. Elsewhere, on Thursday, three-time tournament winner Ronnie O’Sullivan will begin his title quest with tie against debutant Robert Milkins. Zhao Xintong will compete against Mink Nutcharut, who won the Women’s World Championship earlier this year.

In 2022 Champion of Champions, 16 participants will be equally split into four groups and will play in knockout format before each group winner qualifies for semi-final. All first-round matches at this tournament will be played in best-of-seven frames format, while quarterfinals will be used to decide group winner and consist of nine frames. To crown champion of this tournament, best-of-19 frames final will be played following best-of-11 frames semi-final match.

Prize Money Pool Distribution at 2022 Champion of Champions

At 2022 Champion of Champions, winner will bag massive amount of £150,000 as reward and runner-up will receive £60,000. Each group winner will get £30,000 in prize money from the competition’s overall prize pool of £427,000.
