Popular online manga platform Manga Plus have confirmed Chainsaw Man Chapter 99 Release Date and time for part 2 for online reading in English
Chainsaw Man, the iconic horror manga series, has made a long-awaited return. The manga was last featured 18 months ago, before returning earlier this week with the issue of chapter 98.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 99 Release Date And Time
Chainsaw Man Chapter 99 is officially slated to be made available in Japan on Wednesday, July 20th. However, for most international readers, this would mean Tuesday, July 19th.
MangaPlus has confirmed that it will release Chapter 99 of the Chainsaw Man manga series for online reading at the given timings:
Pacific Time – 8 AM
Eastern Time – 11 AM
British Time – 4 PM
European Time – 5 PM
India Time – 8:30 PM
Philippine Time – 11 PM
Australia Central Time – 12:30 AM (July 20)
For the next 3 weeks, the online platform will provide free access, before locking the chapter. After this, users need to have a membership subscription of $1.99/month to read the entire library of chapters.
The Chainsaw Man introduces Mitaka and the War Devil in chapter 98
Chainsaw Man chapter 98, titled “Bird and War”, opens with a young high school girl called Asa Mitaka.
Mitaka is someone who lives guilt-free, away from the rest of her classmates and often spends her leisure time observing them from a distance, and bearing a grudge against how easy other people’s lives are.
One day, her teacher, Mr. Tanaka, brings a Devil Chicken into class and informs the class that in 100 days, they will kill and eat the Devil Chicken to teach them about how precious life can be.
Subsequently, after almost three months, Bucky, the Devil Chicken, who has now become a class mascot, is beloved by almost every member of the group besides Mitaka. She is repeatedly annoyed at the chicken for being more popular than her.
In fact, Mitaka even argues with Mr. Tanaka about the point of the exercise with Bucky. In addition she insults modern society for how everyone has reacted to the Chainsaw Man. However, Mr. Tanaka reveals that nobody will actually kill Bucky. This appears to comfort Mitaka at first, who says that she is at school to study, not to make friends.
To her surprise, Bucky then jumps into Mitaka’s arms and calls her by name—which shocks the young student as only the class president and Mr. Tanaka know her name. With a feeling of inspiration, Mitaka decides to join in with a class game of football (soccer). Unfortunately, tragedy strikes as Mitaka falls over and crushes Bucky on her chest, sending his internal organs splattering across her school uniform.
She comes to school the next day to find herself even more isolated from her classmates after killing their mascot. However, the class president and Mr. Tanaka invite her to visit Bucky’s grave, where she can ask for forgiveness.
On the way to the grave, the class president begins to berate Mitaka. Moreover, the class president shockingly transforms into the Justice Devil – revealing that she had had a ‘thing’ with Mr. Tanaka, but became jealous after he showed her special treatment.
The Justice Devil mauls Mitaka and leaves her to die with horrific injuries. However, Mitaka is at peace knowing that Bucky’s death wasn’t necessarily her fault. She even thinks about how, if she led a less–selfish life, she could have ended up with a boyfriend.
Just before her last breath, a devil appears above her and says that if Mitaka wants to live, her body will be theirs. Her body convulses as she transforms into the War Devil, upon which she kills both the class president and Mr. Tanaka—making an Arm Grenade and Spine Sword out of their corpses.
As she walks away from the disgusting scene that she and the War Devil have just created, she sees an image of Chainsaw Man and promises to one day make him vomit nuclear weapons again.
