Chapter 172 recap
Denji cracked and became the actual Chainsaw Man, capable of forever erasing devils, upon the news in chapter 171 that Nayuta was dead. The aftermath of that is covered in this chapter, along with a few significant developments.
Even though the Public Safety Bureau’s new Special Division had just recently been introduced in the last chapter, Denji wasted no time in destroying them all. He slashes them all, and while they attempt to jump away to evade his blows, it’s too late as they get chopped to pieces or severed from the head.
It’s important to note that they succeed in wounding Denji, causing him to bleed. It is the Centipede devil who succeeds in wounding him.
Chapter 173 expectations
Yoru and Chainsaw Man may face off in the most recent manga volume in an attempt to get rid of all the ideas he has ingested. Given the hints that Devil Hunter is pursuing Chainsaw Man even though he is aware that doing so could result in his complete loss of hearing, Hero of Hell could also choose to engage in combat with multiple demons in this chapter.
