It turns out that Denji was merely acting arrogant because Asa’s remark causes him to lose his temper to the point where they both tumble into misery. He continues to debate a little, then Asa asks something that puts an end to it. She questions him on his belief that somebody like him will be able to obtain it. With a chainsaw hovering on his head, no woman alive is going to wish to have sleep. The two slip out of Denji’s clutches and crash into an awkward position. While Denji is still awake, Asa passes out.
He gets attacked from every direction while traveling and endures injuries to various regions of his body. A huge devil beheads his head from behind, but he snatches it and returns it. The Falling Devil is waiting for him at the gate, asking him to say goodbye to Asa and leave.
