The Professional Darts Corporation is hosting the 2022 Cazoo Premier League Darts, a darts competition. The Premier League Darts competition will be held for the 18th time. The competition began on 3 February 2022 at Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff and will conclude with play-offs in Mercedez-Benz Arena in Berlin. Darts Premier League 2022 Newcastle Night 16 Results, Scores, and Winner
On Night 16 of the Cazoo Premier League in Newcastle on Thursday, Michael Smith won, while Joe Cullen upset World Champion Peter Wright to book his spot in the Play-Offs next month. Smith was the only player in this year’s tournament without a night win prior to his journey to Tyneside, but the World Championship runner-up made amends on the last night of league phase action.
At the Utilita Arena, Smith defeated Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price before holding off a late fightback from Jonny Clayton to claim the £10,000 winner’s bonus. Cullen and Wright’s epic duel, on the other hand, was the main attraction in Newcastle, with the winner guaranteed a berth in the top four. Cullen won a thrilling match to cap off a stellar rookie season.
On Night 15 in London, the Masters winner won to go ahead of Wright in the standings, and he continued his strong play to deny the world number one a third Play-Off spot. Despite this, Cullen was forced to settle for fourth place after losing in the last four against table-topper Clayton, in a rematch of last week’s final.

Play-offs
The two knockout semi-finals feature the top four players in the league table, with 1st facing 4th and 2nd facing 3rd. The Cazoo Premier League roadshow will now go to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin on June 13 for the Play-Offs, where Clayton will attempt to maintain his crown.
In the first semi-final, the 47-year-old will face Cullen, followed by former winners Van Gerwen and Wade, who finished second and third, respectively.
