A Tragic detail have been discovered in the Autopsy report of Caylee Marie Anthony nearly 14 years after toddler found dead, know her cause of death

For those who are unfamiliar with the situation, let us tell you, a 3-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony was reported missing on July 15, 2008, by her grandmother, Cindy Anthony.

As per a report by ABC news, the grandmother of the child told the investigators that Caylee had been missing for around 31 days.

Months prior to the disappearance of the 3 year old, her mother, Casey Anthony stated that she was about to took her daughter for a “mini-vacation.”

However, later she revealed that she left Caylee with a woman named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez after she claims that the woman kidnapped her daughter.

The investigation for the missing child was hampered by the confusing and conflicting stories provided by Casey and her parents.

As per a report by Criminal Brief, the authorities ended up clearing the involvement of Fernandez-Gonzalez in the disappearance of Cayelee and instead they kept the Casey’s name as a person of interest.

Though her daughter was missing, but the mother was arrested and charged under the child negligence on July 16, 2008.

However, after conducting an exhaustive search and after interviewing a dozens of people, investigators were unable to found the whereabouts of toddler.

In the following month, on September 1, 2008, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Florida, issued a public statement saying that, “there is a strong probability that Caylee is deceased.”

Following the statment, Casey was indicted on the charges of first-degree murder, aggravated abuse, aggravated manslaughter and 4 counts of providing false information in her own daughter’s disappearance case.

However, the tragic news was confirmed when skeletal remains which seemed to belong to a small child were discovered in a densely wooded area less than a mile away from George Anthony’s home.

Later, on December 19, 2008, cops announced that the DNA test had confirmed that the skeletal remains which were discovered belonged to Caylee.

As per the autopsy report, the medical examiner, Dr. Jan Garavaglia revealed that toddler’s manner of death was homicide. However, her cause of death wasn’t determined.

The autopsy of the remains which was discovered “intermixed with two plastic trash bags and a canvas laundry type bag” in a densely wooded area was conducted by Dr. Garavaglia and revealed that the remains had been distributed and scattered around the local wildlife.

As per the reports, after skeletal remains being exposed in woods for about 6 months, there wasn’t any soft tissues left on the bones.

The reports also suggested that the vertebrae which was found were clustered together several feets away from the plastic bags in which skulls were found.

The reports also noted that the remains were scattered in the woods around the time when Anthony was reported missing, prior to decomposition.

According to the autopsy, Doctor was unable to trace any evidence of trauma on the bones.

As per the toxicological analysis which was done on the hair strands of the toddler which was recovered from the scene revealed that at the time of her death there wasn’t any drugs in her system.

However, the reports indicated the presence of ruct tape on the lower facial region which could possibly to used to hold the lower jaw in a place.

As per the reports, the examiner concluded the death cause to be Homicide. However, during the trails, a forensic expert testified and blamed Dr. Garavaglia for doing “shoody” work.

As per the reports by ABC news, an expert named Dr. Werner Spitz, testified in the trails that Garavaglia’s conclusion about the duct tape placed on toddlers mouth was incorrect.

The expert believes that the tape was place on the lower skull after the body decomposed.

Meanwhile, another Forensic anthropologist, Dr. William Rodriguez, who’s quite popular for his work in the U.S. Department of Defense Armed Forces Medical Examiner’s Office testified for the defense.

Dr. William stated that, it would be impossible to determine whether the tape was actually placed on lower portion as it may have been shifted during decomposition of the body or it may have been moved by the animals.

In an earlier interview with “Today,” Garavaglia seemed to be saying that, “My job is to determine what happened.

“So I feel very strongly that we could say this was a homicide death by the hands of another. My job is not to point the finger at one person or another.”

Let us remind you, in an earlier report, People magazine revealed that Casey is “planning to co-operate” for a planned documentary about her life.
