Netflix recently revealed the trailer of the movie, which starts with a voiceover of how every Indian boy born in the โ90s dreamt to be part of the Indian Cricket Team. Match-fixing allegations against the Indian Cricket Team players are brought to light in the trailer. They happen to dash those fantasies of being a part of the team.
The trailer emphasises again how important it is for sports to be unpredictable because if they are, the spirit of the game is preserved.
The trailer also includes call transcripts between bookies and players that were intercepted. A bookie is heard saying in one of these segments, “If he attempts to con us, he’ll be in serious trouble.”

The late South African batsman Hansie Cronje and bookmaker Sanjeev Chawla’s phone call was overheard by the Delhi Police.
During the additional investigation, it was discovered that Chawla and Cronje had accepted payment to lose a few international contests. In 2020, Chwala, who resided in the UK, was brought to India after nearly 20 years of investigation. As for Cronje, he died in a plane crash in 2002.
