He suffered the cardiac arrest while undergoing arthroscopic shoulder surgery a night before he was set to star in his football game for the Agoura High School Chargers.

According to a report by Acron, Stone had hurt his shoulder earlier while attending the first day of high school on Wednesday, Aug 24 in Agoura, California.
The next day i.e, Aug 25, he went in for an arthroscopic shoulder surgery to which What AHS Football coach Dustin Croick called “routine surgery” at Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake Village.
During the surgery, something went tragically wrong. Following his condition, he was rushed from Speciality Surgical Center of Westlake Village to Los Angeles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks.
Stone was taken to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where he was stabilized but later, he was pronounced dead thereafter.
A hospital spokesperson said, “When arrived, he was already in cardiac arrest.”
Although the exact cause of teen’s death has not been disclosed yet.
However, Dustin Croick, Agoura’s third-year head coach said that doctors discovered that Carter had a tumor in his heart.
He also said that the tumor was likely formed by undiagnosed T-cell leukemia and the family was not aware of this situation.
In a report, NBC-affiliate WRC-TV said that, “he was looking forward to taking to the field.”
The sudden and tragic death of a 15-year-old freshman has left everyone stunned. Everyone paid their tributes to teenger.
Athletic Director Clint Cummings paid tribute to Stone’s work ethic as they said, “He put in the time. He was here at every practice, he showed up every day.”
Whereas a town football paid their tributes online. Stone’s friend, classmate and teammates mourn the 15-years-old by remembering his sense of humor, kindness, and work ethic.
His coach, Croick said, “he loved football. He was working his tail off. He was the epitome of everything that we’re about here at Agoura and our ‘A-Town’ culture.”
