Head To Head: 2-1

Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev have faced each other three-time in their career where the German leads the head to head record 2-1. The last time they faced was at this year’s Madrid Open where the 19-year-old from Spain, Alacarz was able to beat Zverev in the final to clinch the title in Spain.

Prediction

Alcaraz and Zverev are set for the fourth meeting in their career in singles tomorrow at the French Open quarterfinals. The Spaniard will enter the match slightly favourite over the German following his stunning performance that made everyone this fan this year. The 19-year-old has already won four ATP titles this year and has beaten Nadal, Djokovic and Zverev, all top four players back to back in Madrid, Spain.

On the other hand, in comparison to Alcaraz, Zverev has spent a lot of time on the court in Paris, which will put him at a disadvantage. In the early rounds, however, the German showed maturity in difficult situations. If he wants to challenge the Spaniard, he’ll have to be mentally strong.

Alcaraz is a heavy favourite and his ground coverage and aggressive play will allow him to advance to the next round of the tournament.
